The GX Eagle T-Type AXS Upgrade Kit provides a streamlined entry point into the SRAM AXS wireless ecosystem, specifically designed to convert mechanical Eagle Transmission systems to electronic shifting. This kit centers around an AXS-enabled GX Eagle Transmission derailleur body with a durable black anodized finish, paired with the ergonomic AXS Pod Controller for precise, wireless gear changes. It is engineered to simplify the transition by allowing riders to reuse key components from their existing mechanical setups.
Installation requires a frame with a Hangerless Interface (UDH) and is exclusively compatible with T-Type components. The process involves transferring the threaded cage assembly and mount bolt from a mechanical Eagle 90 or 70 derailleur to the new wireless body. To ensure a secure and reliable setup, the kit includes a fresh Eagle T-Type PowerLock, along with the necessary AXS battery and charger to power your ride.
