JUG Waterers are an energy efficient way to provide clean fresh water to your livestock. The earth tubes help give you that geo-thermal heat for more energy efficiency. These insulated and uninsulated earth tubes can be used for other projects as well. The general way they are being used is an insulated earth tube on top and an uninsulated earth tube below joined with a coupler. 

Primarily regulated via thermal energy. In colder climates, a small 65-watt heater may be needed to assist with keeping the water warm, at a average electrical cost of $10.00 for an entire season. Super insulated with urethan foam to conserve heat loss.
